Papaya Rose Face Mask
Two years ago, at the farmer’s market, one of the vivero’s was popped up selling a variety of tropical plants. Among them, the Papaya caught my eye and I knew I had to add her to the garden. Loading her onto my golf cart (along with several other plants), I eagerly drove back up to the house to find the perfect spot for her. We nestled her right in our mini orchard, where she could thrive alongside grapefruit, pitanga, and citrus trees. Upon returning to Costa Rica this May, we were greeted by our first ripe Papayas. Instantly, I knew I wanted to bring them home to share with all of you.
Papaya serves as both a delectable tropical fruit and a beneficial skincare ingredient. Its natural enzymes and anti-inflammatory properties aid in exfoliating and brightening the skin. When combined with honey, it offers extra moisturizing benefits. This Face Mask is a blend of the skin soothing Papaya with Kaolin Clay, Rose Petals, Calendula and a touch of Jojoba Oil.
