Here at MotMot, we strive for the highest quality ingredients. One way to achieve this is by knowing your farmer, or herb farmer! Most of the plant material we work with is grown either right in our home garden, or at the MotMot garden here in New Jersey. Any other plant material that is utilized is sourced from specifically sought out suppliers that meet MotMot’s highest standards of practices-including but not limited to: regenerative farming practices, organically grown methods, proximity to location and communal focus.

MotMot’s mission and standards are an extension of Michele’s lifestyle. Throughout all areas of her life, she is committed to sourcing locally, seasonally supporting local farms and co-ops, sourcing regionally and being mindful about what materials she consumes or brings into her household. These practices have created the base foundation for everything she has built MotMot upon, and will continue to do so.
Michele states that she would rather go without a product or ingredient if she cannot find it sourced through her standards of sustainability.

MotMot’s standards ensure that our footprint remains small, local and mindful. We only use glass, paper board, and metal containers when processing and packing all herbs & products. We only work with herbs that are in abundance. It is with full devotion to our mission that we do not use any threatened or endangered species, and we focus on bio-regional and invasive plants that grow in abundance. This is one of the most important core values for MotMot Collective and all the people we serve.
