Nervous System Support in the Garden- August 23rd
Saturday, June 27th, 2025
This is an offering that has been being envisioned and cultivated since the beginning of MotMot Collective- and with so much joy I am finally able to offer this class to the community!
There is an absolute abundance of Nervous System supportive herbs that grow right here in our bio-region! During this 2 hour instructional workshop, Clinical Herbalist, Michele Crosta, will be showing you exactly how to grow these precious herbs in your very own backyard. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, just beginning, or growing from pots on a balcony or driveway, this class is designed to meet you where you are. Every participant will leave this workshop feeling knowledgeable and confident on easy to grow & harvest Nervous System supportive herbs. It does not matter if your garden is big, small, or if you are growing plants out of pots on your driveway— there is a pathway forward for cultivating these amazing herbs in all garden sizes!
During this workshop a few of the plants we will cover are Chamomile, Anise Hyssop, Lemon Balm, Tulsi, Passion Flower, etc. Michele will expand upon how each of these plants offers different qualities of support for our nervous systems during this busy day and age, what those qualities are and how to prepare them to create nourishing daily remedies in your very own kitchen.
Tea will be served during this event. You will also receive a detailed handout which you can take home to refer back to. Plant cuttings will be shared and each participant will be guided to use their full sense in observing and understanding the qualities of each plant. You will then be lead through the garden so that you can get a sense of what these plants look like in the ground!
Upon leaving this workshop you’ll have a list of resources so you know where you can purchase these plants and begin to cultivate them in your garden space!
Limited seasonal MotMot products will be available for purchase after the event. If you'd like to pre-order items online, they can be packaged and ready for pickup at the gathering.
