In spring, when the garden begins to awaken, we focus on foundational herbal first aid skills. Working with the fresh vitality of the season, you’ll learn to:
Make and apply poultices
Create infused oils
Craft salves for everyday support
Build a foundational understanding of herbal first aid
We’ll explore Spring plants as they emerge, learning their strengths and how they support the body in times of need.
Classes will include a blend of plant walks, tea meditations, medicine making, harvesting, and plant identification. As well as introduce you to basic plant energetics. This experience offers immersive, hands-on learning grounded in the rhythms of the natural world.
These classes are open to participants of all skill levels who are willing to learn, get their hands in the soil, and immerse themselves in the practice of herbal medicine.
Young adults ages 13 and older are also welcome to register when accompanied by an adult, if they have an interest in this practice. 🌿
The Spring Series will take place on Friday evenings 5pm-7:30pm.
Dates:
April 24th
May 8th
May 22nd
June 12th
*All materials will be provided.
A Living Curriculum
Each season we’ll explore a selection of plants that are flourishing in the garden at that time. The exact plant list will remain flexible, guided by the health and vitality of the growing season. This ensures our learning is responsive, rooted, and alive.
Open Garden Days
Each seasonal series includes the option to attend Open Garden Days, where you’re invited to get your hands in the soil, tend the plants, and participate in ongoing garden projects. Herbalism is not only about making medicine, it is about tending the earth that sustains it.
